The RGE<\/strong> label is a sign of quality issued to a company that meets certain criteria when carrying out energy saving work in housing (wall or roof insulation, installation of equipment using renewable energy, etc…). <\/p>\n\n

The Recognized Guarantor of the Environment<\/strong> mention was created as a real guarantee of quality<\/strong> by the French State and ADEME in 2011.It is intended for craftsmen<\/strong> and building companies<\/strong> specializing in energy efficiency work<\/strong> or the installation of renewable energy systems<\/strong> . It has now been extended to engineering and project management services<\/strong> and<\/strong> their qualifications<\/strong> . However, this is not a simple sign of additional quality<\/strong> because this mention<\/strong> is affixed to a precise list of qualifications<\/strong> that already exist or have recently been created. They are valid for a period of 4 years<\/strong> and are subject to an annual check<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n

A company is awarded the RGE sign by a qualification body<\/strong> (Qualibat, Qualit’EnR, Qualifelec, OPQIBI) or certification<\/strong> body (Cequami, Certibat). To do this, the company must meet certain requirements<\/strong> relating to its volume of activity, compliance with certain legal and administrative criteria, its skills, its use of subcontracting, its audit<\/a> , etc. <\/p>\n\n

What obligations?<\/h2>\n\n

To benefit from the RGE label, the company must fulfill a certain number of obligations set by the organization<\/strong> .
